It is one of the Algarve's top quality tourist areas, where you will be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful environment. Close by you will find several beaches, such as Caneiros, Carvoeiro, Molhe, Pintadinho, Ferragudo and many more. There you will find an opportunity do some watersports like windsurfing, diving, sailing – just to name a few of them. The Algarve is also known for its exquisite golf resorts. Innumerable tests and tournaments have proven the excellent quality of these golf courses. For its visitors, the Algarve will offer quite some delicacies: A great selection of local fish and meat, prepared according to Arabian tradition, as well as the local whine and the delicious almond and fig sweets. But there are other treasures to be discovered besides the ones of culinary nature: artistic crafts such as the construction of local miniature boats or wagons and most of all the pottery.
